What we are proud of
We are proud of all our partners (students and teachers) who have used our program so successfully. We are proud of our innovative and proven methodology that has been acclaimed globally and we believe that we can give a positive direction to primary education within our country and outside our country.

It should be noted that the impact of the programme is not only on the children it currently reaches out to, but to the hundreds of teachers that are regularly trained through RIVER Programme, and the schools that access this learning from different parts of India. Over a decade the number of schools using this model has grown from 16 to 25,000. We have several enriching partnerships, all across India with government bodies and NGOs. Presently, we are involved in our most ambitious program with UNICEF and the Govt. of India, for implementing our model in 1000 schools in each of the 12 project states, which we hope will become models for many others. If one calculates on an average around 30 children per school the total number of children benefited from RIVER model would workout to 7,50,000. These child-friendly approaches would have empowered and benefited similarly around 25,000 teachers across the country in enriching their teaching learning skills and their vision towards a common sense quality school. Thus this small laboratory of twelve rural schools and the Resource Centre at RIVER has benefited mainstream education programs all over the country and is widely accepted as a great contribution to high quality rural education. That is something we are proud of.
